ELECTRIFICATION AND SIGNALLING WORK PACKAGE FOR GEMAS TO JOHOR BAHRU DOUBLE TRACK PROJECT
In 2018, PESTECH has been awarded the package for electrification and signalling scope for the Gemas to Johor Bahru double track project, including Overhead Catenary System (OCS) and Traction Power System (TPS) from Gemas to Johor Bahru, covering a span of 192km. The signaling package was undertaken by the Ansaldo STS – PESTECH JV. PESTECH’s scope covers installation, testing and commissioning of the signalling package. Design and engineering for complete electrification for the project are locally performed in Malaysia. The scope covers a complete design and built turnkey including power system study and all engineering studies covering EMC, Harmonics, touch potential, RAMS, Wind Study and others as well as OCS, TPS and Power System SCADA.
